This photo was taken in the Cradle Mountain Lake St-Clair National Park, located in the Central Highlands of Tasmania.

The day this photo was taken was all about exploring the Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain area of the national park. After a big push to the summit of Cradle Mountain, we made our way down and rather than returning via the Overland and Wombat Pool tracks (the way we came), we decided to make it a lop via Hansons Peak. Just under the summit of Cradle Mountain herself, we spied this backcountry cabin nestled in the trees. The perspectives we were able to get of this remote shelter with the deep greens and vibrant flowers made for a nice capture!

Original Specs

The frame is restored lime-white washed Red Cedar. Printed on satin canvas with a a fully backed, wire hang system. 30cm wide x 45cm high. All prints are limited edition and come with a signed and numbered card of authenticity.
